The Bring Hollywood Foundation has organic origins. The idea for a foundation to lead a statewide voter education effort for legislative and business solutions to runaway production was brought to fruition by many stakeholders who want to see Hollywood Leadership For A Change. I've named this blog accordingly and hope it will support needed remedies to keep film and television production in California. BHHF isn't judgemental about the film and television production business models which have caused the great job drain from our state as we know there are many factors which have contributed to the downfall of the industry here. While our detractors fear us there is really nothing to fear about new leadership that would involve a more informed California electorate. The new 501 C 4 has a unique opportunity to write legislation, testify in public hearings, and poll the electorate about attitudes towards keeping the industry here in the state. We have a brave five year vision to launch a fight that will probably have no end as the world goes after the jobs we have taken for granted in California for nearly a century. Sharon Hardee Jimenez
